Crafted from a harmonious blend of twigs, stems, and leaves, our Kukicha tea offers a delicate balance of flavors that is both soothing and invigorating. With a subtle nutty undertone and a hint of sweetness, each sip takes you on a peaceful journey to the tranquil tea gardens of Japan.
Brewing Tips
2 light teaspoons per 8oz (approx 240ml) of water.
Best extracted in water with a temperature of 180F (80C). Infusion time 1-2 minutes.
If you are using a kettle without temperature control, pour boiled water into your cup first, then after 30 seconds pour into the teapot for 1-2 minutes.
*Our loose leaf teas are packaged in Japan and shipped at the height of freshness. After opening the package, place in an airtight container away from direct sunlight.

Matcha this fresh deserves a little care. Keep the tin sealed tight, away from light, heat, and moisture — a cool, dark cupboard is all it needs. Once opened, use within 8 weeks for the full experience.
- Sift the Matcha: Use a small sifter to remove any clumps from 1–2 teaspoons of matcha powder for a smooth texture.
- Add Water: Pour 2–3 ounces of hot water (slightly cooled after boiling) into a bowl.
- Whisk: Use a bamboo whisk (chasen) to whisk the matcha briskly in a zigzag motion (M or W shape) until a frothy layer forms on top.
- Serve: Enjoy your matcha as is, or adjust with more water or your preferred milk for a latte.
